SPRINGFIELD’S RELIABLE PUMP INSTALLATION SERVICE

Wilson Well Drilling is fully licensed and insured for pump installations.  We service all types of well pumps in Southern Ontario from our main office in Springfield.  Once the well is finished,  the next step is to install the pump in the wells we drill.  This ensures that the pump,  tank,  and other components of the pumping system match the water produced by the well,  maximizing the efficiency and lifespan of your pumping system.  The various components of your pumping system include the pump,  the pressure tank, water lines,  underground connections,  and inside fittings which we finish to the point of being ready for your plumber to connect the interior water lines.

OUR SERVICES

Well pumps are effective for delivering water to properties that are not connected to a municipal supply of water.  You can also bring them to use for your smaller irrigation needs and to provide water to your livestock.  We have the knowledge and the experience to install the following effectively:

SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS

If you are looking for a pump that does not need priming and offers better pressure and more volume,  submersible pumps are for you.  A major advantage that submersible pumps offer is that they do not suck or draw water to the surface but push it.  You can invest in deep well submersible pumps if your well is 20’ to 300’ deep.  They operate well with such units by attaching to the bottom of the drop pipe.  You can also use these pumps if the diameter of your well casing measures 4” or more,  provided it meets the depth requirements of the well.

JET PUMPS

Jet pumps are usually placed at some distance from the well in a crawlspace or a pump house,  and they draw water from the well to the pump.  These pumps come in 2 types,  namely single and double pipe well jet pumps.  You can go for a shallow well jet pump if your well is 0’ - 25’ deep.  For wells that are 0’ - 90’ deep,  a convertible jet pump is preferred.  Well casing also determines the pumps to be used.  If the casing of your well is more than 4” in diameter,  you can choose from a jet pump or deep well submersible pump,  depending on your well’s depth.

PISTON PUMPS

Usually connected to a motor that is surface-mounted, these pumps work great for shallow wells.  They have a cylindrical-shaped chamber through which the water flows down.  These positive displacement pumps are driven by a hydraulic mechanism and are highly efficient.

PRESSURE TANKS

A pressure tank is one of the key components of a well system.  Not only does it regulate the pressure of the water but it is also used to gain access to well water without switching the pump on manually.  It uses compressed air to send the pressurized water to your home through the tank.  In addition to that,  it also keeps the water in the tank clean and safe for use.  It is advised to use larger pressure tanks with large pumps to avoid chances of rapid cycling.

WATER LINES

Water lines in a well system perform the function of transporting water from the well to your property.  The number of water lines may vary depending on your pump system.  For instance,  a one-pipe shallow well jet pump has a single water line,  whereas a two-pipe deep well jet pump has 2 water lines.  We can install water lines of various diameters and pipe materials to meet your well water requirements.

ACCESSORIES

Apart from installing pumps, pressure tanks,  and water lines,  we can also provide you with additional accessories that help with the overall functioning of your well water systems.  For instance,  you can trust us to install a shallow jet well nozzle in your convertible well jet pump operating on a well that is 0’ - 25’ deep.  Similarly,  we can install an ejector assembly in your convertible well jet pump operating on a well that is 25’ - 90’ deep.
